Todd has invested over 30 years in serving churches, having served as a worship pastor for over 15 years, a church elder for more than a decade, and in various ministry leadership roles in both the business and non-profit sectors. As the original founder and developer of ChurchStaffing.com, Todd fundamentally changed the way thousands of churches search for pastors and staff on the internet. Most recently, Todd’s work with Leadership Network has provided him exposure to the innovative trends in today’s church and inside knowledge of how healthy churches operate and uses it to help churches find a healthy, long-term fit for their next team member. A graduate of Cedarville University, Todd lives in Bryan, OH with his wife, Dawn.
Matt has served the local church for over two decades as a youth pastor, church planter, and executive pastor. Originally from Baltimore, Matt currently lives in the Orlando, FL area with his wife Theresa, and has a B.S. in Youth Ministry from Nyack College and an M.Div. and MBA from Baylor University. Certified as an Urban Church Planter Coach by Redeemer City to City and as a StratOp facilitator by the Paterson Center, Matt has made a career of helping churches thrive through intentionality, clarity, and creating healthy cultures. He is convinced that a healthy church is led by a healthy team with great chemistry, and loves partnering with Chemistry’s churches to do great things for the Kingdom.
Eric provides business and executive coaching to churches and non-profit teams, helping them leverage their ministries and teams for expanded impact in their communities. He recently retired as Executive Pastor of Rolling Hills Church in El Dorado Hills, CA. In addition to the 5 years he served as an executive pastor, Eric has 20+ years of experience as an executive leader at several large health insurance companies, has been a business coach, and serves on several non-profit boards. Over his career, Eric has built and lead teams in a collaborative and successful way which achieved their goals and grew their businesses and ministries. Eric graduated from Westmont College with a history degree and received his Master’s in Health Administration from the University of Colorado. Over the past decade, he has received additional training on coaching, facilitating and team building. He is an avid reader/listener of leadership books and podcasts. Eric and his wife Debbie live in Folsom, CA and have four grown children. Debbie works as a bookkeeper for a Folsom-based company. They enjoy cycling, pickleball and travel.
Doug is originally from Charleston, SC and after earning a Master of Architecture from Clemson University, spent a decade practicing architecture in Orlando, Florida. During those years Doug and his wife Kim were part of a church plant which God used to ignite a love for the local church and a call to fulltime ministry. Doug received a Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary and for more than two decades has served churches from the Carolinas to California (and places in between) as an executive and senior pastor. Doug and Kim currently live in Birmingham, AL and have three grown daughters, two son-in-laws, two grandkids and one very needy labradoodle. Doug’s continuing deep love for the local church is expressed by helping connect candidates to calls that result in thriving ministry.
Jon grew up in a small Texas town before moving to Waco to attend Baylor University. After graduating and working at a church in the DFW area for a couple of years, he moved back to Waco where he’s been on staff at a church for the past 6 1/2 years. He’s passionate about the local church and doing everything he can to empower churches to make disciples and change the world. Jon and his wife Amanda have been married for 6 years and have a one year old son, Micah.
Lead Candidate Coach
Tiffany Henning has been successfully working in ministry for over 20 years. After working in Human Resources for 13 years, 8 of those years working with churches and ministries, she saw a huge need for HR expertise specifically geared towards faith based non-profits. She continued to invest in her HR knowledge by earning her SPHR (Senior Professional Human Resource) and CRPC (Chartered Retirement Professional Counselor) certifications. In 2015, Tiffany began the process of creating of a HR Resource Network for faith based organizations called HR Ministry Solutions and another aimed at for-profits businesses called SimplyPeople HR. Her heart and passion is to help simplify HR and staff issues to help organizations be healthy and sustainable, ready for growth.
Two words can summarize what Joey is is most passionate about as a pastor: life change. He loves leading someone to Jesus or seeing a follower of Jesus take their next step of obedience to Jesus; and he loves hearing the stories of those who lead another person to Jesus. Joey currently serves as Executive Pastor of Bear Valley Church in Lakewood, Colorado.
Kevin grew up on a ranch in the middle of nowhere where he learned the value of hard work. Never satisfied with the status quo, Kevin has always been a forward-thinker, eager to make strategic changes and pioneer new ground that has been met with sustainable
growth. He is marked as being highly relational and works hard to create a welcoming atmosphere where people feel like family. He is known to say “parkour” when stepping out his front door, and adds salt to his food before he tastes it.
A graduate of Springfield College, Chet served as a navy helicopter pilot, flying off of the back of frigates and destroyers in the Atlantic and Mediterranean. During the last four years of his 10 on active duty, Chet sensed a growing call to ministry that led him to leave active duty for the Naval Reserve and attend Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. After graduating with a Master of Divinity, Chet served at a non-denominational church in New Jersey for 25 years serving as the youth pastor, associate pastor, and senior pastor. Chet and Margot have been married for 40 years, have three children and four grandchildren. Having retired from the navy and the church, Chet currently resides in New Jersey and serves as a Candidate Coach with Chemistry Staffing where he enjoys the opportunity to come alongside the next generation of church leaders and help them find their next place of service.
Jeff is the lead pastor of Trilogy Community Church that he and his wife, Melissa, planted in Dallas, TX in 2016. He has previously worked at Church on the Journey and the Assembly of God District Offices. He has 20 years of leadership experience. Jeff and Melissa have been married for 16 years and have six children. Jeff works with Next Generation Pastors that Leadership Network serves.
Kate was born and raised in South Carolina, growing up in Summerton before heading off to the bright lights of Columbia to attend the University of South Carolina where she received her Bachelor’s in Communications and Public Relations. She continued on to earn a Master’s in Healthcare Administration and served in that field for six years. Kate and her husband, Stephen, have been married for 16 years, have 3 children, and are active in their church’s student ministry. Kate serves as Chemistry’s Operations Manager, coordinating schedules, herding cats, and making sure that the details get handled and deadlines are met. Her favorite part of working at Chemistry is helping both the candidates and Chemistry staff, watching the process work as people find their place.
Social Media Strategist
Matt Lombardi has spent over a decade serving the local church is a variety of roles. His passion is to help churches and ministry organizations better utilize marketing strategy and new technologies to reach their communities. Matt currently lives in central Washington with his wife, Courtney, and their two children. Matt holds a BA in Religious Studies from Florida State University and a MA in Theology from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Matt has served in senior leadership positions at three different churches over the last 15 years ranging in size from 90 to over 14,000 in weekend attendance. Each church experienced significant growth giving him valuable insight into what does and does not work as a church attempts to grow. Prior to his call to ministry, Matt was COO/CFO of a large company that owned and operated franchises in Florida. During his time there, the company grew from 4 locations to over 50 with an annual budget that grew from $4M to over $70M. Matt uses those experiences to help churches grow by finding the right staff, developing strategy, and streamlining their operations and ministry. He has been married to Melissa for 26 years and they have two adult sons and a beautiful daughter in law.
Melissa has invested 20 years in serving the local church on three different church staff teams in various roles, including executive level leadership. Part of the beauty of her experience is that she’s served on churches with 90 people all the way up to over 14,000 in weekend attendance. She has an extensive background in communications, marketing, membership, groups, first impressions, weekend service development, children’s ministry and women’s ministry. Melissa uses her ministry experience to help churches make good hiring decisions, expand their reach, and develop their strategy as well as their leadership. She has been married to Matt for 26 years and they have two adult sons and a beautiful daughter in law.
Kelly Norris has 27 years of experience in Children’s, Operations, Communications, Church Planting, Creative Arts, Associate, and Executive Pastoral positions. She is also the owner of Kelability, LLC, a Kingdom-minded company supporting and developing ministries and leaders. She and her family of five are originally from Columbus, Ohio but recently moved to Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, Andy, and their youngest daughter. They have two grown children back in Ohio. Her work with Chemistry Staffing allows Kelly the opportunity to use her diverse coaching and ministry background to help candidates navigate their journey of finding the right position and to help churches find the right candidate for a long-term, healthy fit.
Originally from a town north of Vancouver, after attending Briercrest Bible College, Brad has served the local church in the US for over 15 years. Brad established a Sports & Fitness ministry that now reaches over 60,000 participants each year. He brings a unique perspective and understanding of the local church having led departments and served in areas such as Sports & Fitness, Small Groups, Pastoral Care, Facilities, Next Gen and Guest Services. Brad serves as a Church Coach at Chemistry and has a passion to help understand each church’s unique culture and staffing needs so that the Chemistry team can help place the perfect fit for long term success.
Linda Stanley joined Chemistry Staffing after retiring from 23 years of service as Vice-President and Team Leader at Leadership Network, where she traveled extensively to serve ministry leaders and their executive teams with staff and organizational health evaluations, organizational strategy and implementation plans, and individual leadership coaching. Linda graduated Summa Cum Laude from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Business Management. At Chemistry, Linda uses her years of ministry experience to help churches navigate the hiring process and begin their next season of ministry well. She has two adult children, both married, and two grandchildren, and lives in Denver, Colorado where it is surprisingly sunny most of the time.
David has a diverse background in business, theology, and design. After spending 10 years in banking and corporate accounting, he attended Asbury Theological Seminary. Upon earning his MDiv in 2006, David served as a senior pastor at a Wesleyan church in Wisconsin. In an effort to learn innovation for the benefit of the Church, he returned to grad school and obtained a degree in Design Thinking from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2011. David currently resides in Tulsa, OK where he helped close a dying church and planted a new one in its place. David serves as a Candidate Coach at Chemistry, drilling down into candidate’s experience and skills during interviews and helping them discern whether they are a fit for open positions.
Originally from Southern California, Jacob currently resides in southern Utah where he lives with his wife and three daughters and pastors at a church that is reaching the “religious lost” population in Utah. After serving in the Navy, Jacob received his Bachelor’s degree in Religion from Liberty University and life coaching certification from Symbiosis. Having served the local church as a youth pastor and executive pastor, he now serves as a candidate coach at Chemistry, where he helps candidates discern their next season of ministry.
Dave grew up on a midwest farm then spent thirty years in health care management. After decades of serving the church through lay leadership, Dave went on to serve as an executive pastor and church consultant, helping churches with vision casting, strategic planning, capital campaigns, and operations/governance. Currently residing in Minneapolis with his wife, Donna, Dave serves as a Candidate Coach at Chemistry, conducting interviews and helping our candidates wrestle through where God is calling them in their next season of ministry.
