POSITION DETAILS

Rancho Murieta Community Church in Rancho Murieta, California is in search of a Student Ministries Pastor to work in harmony with the mission and vision of Rancho Murieta Community Church and provide oversight and direction to all ministries involving middle school (grades 6-8) and high school (grades 9-12) students and families. This position will also include an aspect of continuing to grow and develop our digital ministry.

What you’ll be doing:
– Enlist and equip volunteer staff for key ministry roles
– Disciple and build relationships with students and families
– Lead preparation and execution of weekly programming and special events
– Oversee the administration of student ministries (i.e. budgeting, policies, coordinating ministry environments, enlisting & training leaders, etc.)
– Occasional preaching for worship services
– Digital ministry development

What you need to have:
– A love for Jesus and the ability to demonstrate that love to others
– Strong team building and administrative abilities
– Excellent oral and written skills
– Digital ministry experience
– Ability to manage and effectively lead volunteers
– High capacity teaching and interpersonal communication
– Working knowledge of standard office systems and equipment
– Strong team player
